- How do I become an affiliate?
You are automatically an affiliate when you register with myid.ca.
- What are the advantages of joining MyID.ca affiliate program?
MyID.ca affiliate program is unique in that it gives you commissions for life on all purchases your referrals make. This means that, unlike other programs, you earn money not only with initial purchase your referal make when they join in but also whenever they renew their existing services or buy additional ones. This means that a service renewed 5 years from now, will earn you commission then too.
- How much can I earn with MyID.ca affiliate program?
There is no limit to how much money you can make. Many of our affiliates are making hundreds of dollars each month.
You make 20% off any dollar we make through your referrals for life. The more you refer, the more you make :). As simple as that.
- What can I do with my earnings?
All your earnings are automatically added to your balance and are immediately available for your use towards any of the services we offer. You can for example register new domains, get web hosting, web design, and/or renew existing ones.
In addition, you can at anytime request your funds sent to you by email if you have an account with CIBC, TDBank, Bank of Montreal, or Scotia Bank. There is a $1.50 CDN that bank charges and that is your responsibility. Payments can be made at the beginning of each month when your balance is at least $50 CDN.
If you have an account with TDBank, we can deposit money in your account for no charge.
- How do I track my earnings?
Click on 'Track earnings' in the affiliate part of the left navigation menu. You will see earnings by year, month, and day. Stats are dynamic and updated in realtime.
- How to improve my performance as affiliate?
You can improve your earnings by using the various tools we offer you prominently in as many places as possible. We have for your use many graphics, domain search boxes, and text links. Graphics are of various sizes to fit various needs.
You can also spread the word in your newsletters if you have any, email to friends, etc. One thing you should never do: SPAM. If you spam in any way, shape, or fashion, your affiliate account will be terminated and you will lose all your earnings so far. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes spam and what does not.
- What is an affiliate ID?
The affiliate ID is the unique tracking code that allows our system to correctly credit your referrals to you. You will see your affiliate ID at the top of the page that contains the code you need to put on your site.
- What are the differences between affiliates and resellers?
Resellers prebuy services from us in bulk at significant discounts. They then setup their own prices, support their clients, and do their own billing on their own website.
Affiliates on the other hand refer others to myid.ca and earn commisssions on purchases their referrals make on myid.ca. We provide customer support , set the prices, and do the billing.
