  1. What exactly is a .ca registrant?
A registrant is a legal entity eligible to officially hold the registration rights for a .ca domain name. A registrant must fulfill Candian Presence Requirements and have a valid phone number, physical address, and email address.

Examples of registrants include a person's full name or the official name of a company or organization.

When you create a registrant you must use the exact spelling of your name or that of your company as registered with the canadian government or you will be at significant risk of having CIRA deactivate your domains.
