If you have needs for privacy and are not happy about the mandatory public whois info that CIRA requires, then our Private Registration service is for you.! This service comes in two flavors: Personal and Corporate (This also protects the public info required by canadian government from all corporations).

Personal Private Registration: $300 per year per registrant

This is a service that allows you to register your .ca domains and retain full control over them without having to divulge your contact info. Basically:

Registrant name remains you or your company
Admin contact name: We assign that to one of our staff
Admin contact phone number and mailing address: Our phone number and address
Admin contact email address: We provide you with either an email alias or a fullscale email address with your choice of one of two domains (itsprivate.ca or mailbox.ca). The email alias would just forward to your existing email address. This allows you to receive but not send through that address. The full scale email address is a fullscale highly featured POP3/webmail account with 50 MB of space, virus scanning and spam filtering (This costs $40 extra per year). This allows you to both send and receive messages.

Mail Forwarding : Any physical mail coming to you at our address is forwarded to your actual physical address

Let's take an example.

Say you buy Personal Private Registration for registrant John Doe, 22 main street, Toronto, Ontario, M5V3A7 Canada, 416-5555555, johndoe@johndoe.ca and chose email alias johndoe@mailbox.ca

When anyone queries any domain registered under that registrant, the whois info would show the following:

Registrant Name: John Doe

Admin Contact:
Name: Ali Atif
email: johndoe@itsprivate.ca
Address: 33 Hazelton Avenue
Suite 311 Toronto ON M5R2E3 Canada
Phone number: (866) 224-4095

Corporate Private Registration:$3000 CDN per year per registrant

Same as above but in addition, we protect your privacy from the corporation public info mandated by the Canadian government. Canadian laws require the following corporate info to be public: mailing address and a canadian director. We draft a legal agreement through our legal department that basically allows you to assign one of our staff as your canadian director after waiving all their rights and responsibilities. Then your canadian corporation public record will show the name of our staff, and our mailing address.
